Mark E. Hauber is professor and executive director at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and previously served as the Harley Jones Van Cleave Professor of Host-Parasite Interactions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the author of The Book of Eggs, also published by the University of Chicago Press.
