Margaret L. King

Margaret L. King is professor emerita at Brooklyn College, CUNY. She is the author of, among other monographs, Venetian Humanism in an Age of Patrician Dominance (1986); Women of the Renaissance (1991); and The Death of the Child Valerio Marcello (1994). She is the editor of Renaissance Humanism: An Anthology of Sources (2014); Reformation Thought: An Anthology of Sources (2016); and Enlightenment Thought: An Anthology of Sources (2019). She is also the editor and translator of three earlier Other Voice volumes regarding the works of Isotta Nogarola (with Diana Robin, 2003), Francesco Barbaro (2015), and Pompeo Colonna (with Franco Minonzio, 2024).
