James McCorkle

James McCorkle is the author of three collections of poetry: The Subtle Bodies, In Time, and Evidences, which received the APR-Honickman First Book Award. He is also the author of The Still Performance, a study of postmodern poetry; editor of Conversant Essays; and co-editor of the Greenwood Encyclopedia of American Poetry and Poets. James lives in Geneva, New York where he teaches in and co-directs the Africana Studies Program at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
