Noémie Ndiaye

Noémie Ndiaye is associate professor of Renaissance and early modern English literature at the University of Chicago. She is the author of the multi-award-winning Scripts of Blackness: Early Modern Performance Culture and the Making of Race and coeditor, with Lia Markey, of Seeing Race Before Race: Visual Culture and the Racial Matrix in the Premodern World.
