Gavin Van Horn is executive editor of Humans & Nature Press Books at the Center for Humans and Nature, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to explore and promote human responsibilities in relation to nature—the whole community of life. He is coeditor of two five-volume series, Kinship and Elementals.
