Hussain Ahmed is the author of Crossroad Mirror, Blue Exodus, and Soliloquy with the Ghosts in Nile. His work has appeared in Poetry Magazine, Best American Poetry Anthology, The Nation, American Poetry Review, A Public Space, and elsewhere. A Nigerian poet and environmentalist, he holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Mississippi and PhD in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of Cincinnati.
