Joseph J. Mangano is an epidemiologist who directs the Radiation and Public Health Project (RPHP), which studies the health risk from exposure to nuclear weapons test fallout and nuclear reactor emissions. He is coauthor or sole author of forty-one articles in medical journals and three books, including Mad Science: The Nuclear Power Experiment.
