Robert Minckley is professor of instruction in the Department of Biology at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York, where he teaches courses in general biology, conservation biology, and ecology and evolution. Minckley is coauthor of The Solitary Bees: Biology, Evolution, Conservation and an associate editor for the journal Insect Conservation and Diversity.
